Often known as a melting pot due to its diversity in cultures, Texas resides as a location prime for economic development. Favorable climates, plentiful supplies, low taxation, and big dreams all contribute to the success that Texans feel on a yearly basis. Texas’ largest city is Houston--known as a leader in the energy and aeronautics industries. Dallas and San Antonio round out the top three and contribute to the unique culture found throughout the state.
With plenty of universities in Texas, students often search for places that can provide them with marketable degrees. Agricultural engineers, physician assistants, special education teachers, and kindergarten teachers are likely to be in demand in the next ten years.
