Higher Education in Utah Colleges
One of the things people appreciate the most about the state of Utah is the beauty. Utah is also host to one of the largest tourism industries in the nation. Part of this comes from its numerous ski resorts, part of it comes from five national parks, and part of it comes from cultural attractions such as the Sundance Film Festival. Salt Lake City is Utah’s largest city, followed by Provo and West Valley City. Companies headquartered in this state include Franklin-Covey and Overstock.com.
While travel and tourism will likely remain the state’s economic mainstays, pharmacists and architects are facing the largest job increases within the next ten years. Large employers such as Autoliv Incorporated, Utah State University, and Electro Tech Corporation will also factor into potential job seekers plans.
